We teach that the offices are spiritual positions or functions in the local church, namely elders and deacons, for oversight and service. What is more, we teach that the NT church is comprised of the priesthood of all believers.
About Our Deacons
Wesley Callow
Wes was born December 24th, 1982 in Silver Spring, MD. He was spiritually born again by God’s grace alone, through faith alone and in Christ alone, being saved from God’s wrath. He was correctly baptized by immersion on October 10th, 2021 in the Patapsco River.
He enjoys reading and studying The Word of God, spending time outdoors, working out and desires to serve The LORD’s Church in Catonsville as a faithful deacon.
Colossians 2:13-14:
"When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."
Wes attended college in West Virginia where he studied Business Administration and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He currently works in law enforcement and owns a small, family-owned business.
Wes is married to Rita and together they have two daughters.
